Trump’s so-called peace plan is nothing more than an exit strategy, a way to mask the fact that NATO has just lost another war - this time in Ukraine, following its failure in Afghanistan. As usual, the U.S., as the leader of the Alliance, will wreak havoc and then leave the Europeans to clean up the mess.
At the same time that the Americans are calling for peace (or at least a ceasefire) with Russia, they continue flooding their allies with more weapons.
What’s left of Ukraine has already been sold off and picked apart by Western corporations, including its fertile land. It will be interesting to see how that puppet, Rutte, spins the new narrative. But Putin was right when he said that soon, all European leaders would be groveling at Trump’s feet like lapdogs.
As for Zelensky, he has already been used like … well, you know the rest.
What a tragic fate for a country that suffered because it failed to understand its national interests and the true cost of NATO membership. In trying to gain security, they lost everything.
The U.S. used Ukraine as a pawn in its geopolitical ambitions (to weaken and fracture Russia) but now it will cast it aside and forget it. Except, of course, as a colonial outpost…
NATO - that the dark object of desire of immature nations! (And here, I can’t help but think of Macedonia’s sacrifice (everything given up for this rotten alliance.)
Congratulations Prof. Vankovska for dissecting the true nature and impact of the NATO proxy war in Ukraine. The G7 are in deep decline and are desperate to suck as many willing and unwilling participants in the defence of the unipolar world disorder. NATO is a criminal syndicate run by the neo fascist military industrial financial cartels, oligarchs and war profiteers. It has no place in the world and must be shut down like US AID by people powered resistance. Depraved NATO is trying to expand into the Asia Pacific. It wants enlarge its deadly business agenda where they are rejected by informed citizens and peace loving countries starting with China, India, ASEAN and Australia.
