Thank you, Biljana! You and Jan from TFF are right to point out this tendency in many podcasts. While I truly value them, they do often focus heavily on personalities. That can be useful at times, but it also leaves space for another type of analysis empty. And I completely agree with you that we need to hear voices from across the world.

I often think that once I finish my PhD, I’d like to set up my own podcast or channel to bring in perspectives from Latin America and the Caribbean — partly because I’d have easier access to interviewees there, but also because this region is strikingly absent from most of the discussions I’ve come across.

Ditto, ditto, ditto! I have been noticing the same thing, which is one reason I have found your comments so refreshing. Keep up the good work!

On the other hand, maybe some of those podcasts which seem so repetitive to us, are only slowly becoming familiar to a wider audience.
